30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to a Maison Backyards error, damaged item, defective item, or incorrect item. Please keep the original packaging until you are sure the product works for your space.

Return Window

Maison Backyards offers a 30-day return window. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase may be required.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a Maison Backyards error, damaged item, defective item, incorrect item, wrong shipping address caused by our error, or duplicate order.

We do not offer prepaid return labels for standard customer returns.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, malfunctioning, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so our support team can review the issue.

For damaged or defective items, photos or videos are required before a return, refund, replacement part, or other solution can be approved.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos or videos of the issue
  • Photos of the shipping box and packaging if the item arrived damaged
  • A short description of the problem

Replacement Parts and Support

Some product issues can be resolved with replacement parts and support instead of returning the entire item. If a replacement part is available and the issue can be fixed, Maison Backyards may offer replacement parts and repair guidance as a faster solution.

Please note that Maison Backyards does not send technicians or repairmen to customer homes.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items may not be eligible for return, including sale items, gift cards, custom or personalized products, and items that cannot be returned for safety or condition reasons.

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, please contact us before starting a return.

Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the original item after approval and place a new order once the return is accepted.

Refunds

Once your approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow additional time for your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to process and post the refund.
